Modern Historical Korean Dramas

The Joseon or Goryeo eras are the settings for many Korean television shows. The plot, which is set in a hypothetical constitutional monarchy-ruled Korea, is driven by the death of a crown prince, which throws the imperial lineage into doubt as royal members try to put things right. The outstanding cast includes Kang Doo, Se7en, Huh E-Jae, and Park Shin Hye.

The program is also known as Goong S. The production firm claims that "S" can imply many different things, such as a fresh start ("Start"), something special ("Special"), and a "Secret" concerning Se7en's persona. In the end, the show's plot revealed every one of these facts.
